Mr. Randal J Slade, Principal.
Mr. Slade graduated in 1983 and began his electrical engineering consulting career in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in 1984. In 1988, he relocated to Ontario to become the Engineering Manager for A.B. Chance, a multinational high voltage switchgear manufacturer.
In 1990, Mr. Slade relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia to join Robert Freundlich and Associates as a Project Engineer. While employed with RFA, he was involved in institutional projects, health care facilities, universities and colleges. Randal joined Flagel Lewandowski Ltd. in 1992 and continued designing colleges, health care and institutional projects.
He joined Falcon Engineering Ltd. in 1996 and became a partner in the firm in 1997. In 1998, he relocated to Victoria to manage the local office. He has been involved in a wide variety of commercial, institutional and industrial projects throughout Vancouver Island.
In July of 2005, Mr. Slade purchased the Victoria office of Falcon Engineering Ltd. and effective August 01 2005, changed the name to Triumph Electrical Consulting Engineering Ltd. Mr. Slade has continued project involvement with Health Care, Educational facilities, Airports, Food Stores, and commercial clients through-out BC and Alberta.
Steven Cooke, Principal.
Mr. Cooke began his Engineering career after graduating from the Bachelor of Engineering program at the University of Victoria in 2005. Since late 2005, Mr. Cooke has worked with Mr. Slade on a great variety of projects, ranging from Schools, to multi-family residential, to commercial, to retail, to office, and more. Mr. Cooke has been working alongside Mr. Slade since the start of his career, and, in 2009, became a partner in Triumph Electrical Consulting Engineering. Today, Mr. Cooke is responsible for a wide range of duties, including assisting Mr. Slade with projects, as well as running many other small scale retail and commercial projects, as well as writing condition assessment reports for condominiums undergoing such audits as part of the recent revisions to the Strata Act.
